Coppertooled happiness

The process of stamping the inside and crafting the outside of my books is laborious, but very satisfying. I'm guessing it takes me about 25 minutes to do each book. Only 9 left to do!

What's coming up

...and... just like that it's already 2015.

Artsy things happening this year:

A book launch, New Beginnings, the fifth one I've edited in this series showcasing the writing of NZ migrant women writers. As always it's a joy and privilege to teach this class alongside many writers that I admire.

A writing workshop, New Kiwi Women Fly, which is the extension for the New Kiwi Women Write Their Stories workshops I run for Auckland Council.

Some more writing workshops over at Studio One and Wellington Chinese New Year Festival. Am stoked and slightly disbelieving that people pay to have me teach them!

Two plays, Under the Same Moon and The Two Farting Sisters which will hit Wellington (my home for the year) and Auckland in Feb.

I have two books-in-progress (more progress than last year!): a book of some of my plays, and my first collection of poetry. Hoping at least one of them gets launched this year!!

Hoping to make more entries on my blog, Talkwrite, at The Big Idea, as well as many more interviews with cool creative folk!

I am also hoping to be much more regular with my Tuesday Poem postings.
