You have captured the essence of both the performance and the exhibition. <br /><br />The performance was inspired by a key theme in "A Sense of Dislocation", the artwork by Jane Loo; that of humiliation. It was workshopped with Jane and performed by Elise, Jeong, Kristian and myself. <br /><br />In curating "Transformance" I was looking at work, either visual or performative, that enables passive or participatory emotive identification (and possible transcendence). <br /><br />Jane's work highlights that most exposed and personal part of the human body; the face - a mirror to the soul.
